WHAT WE DO

We are dedicated to serving the needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and their families.

Our primary goals are to help families gain the assistance they need in raising their child or relative with a developmental disability and to aid the individual to reach their greatest level of competency.

As one of the only organizations in the northeast region of Houston available to provide such a broad range of support and resources for those living with IDD, we are a lifeline to the families who depend on us for their physical, mental, and financial well-being.

Our mission is to enhance the lives of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and support them in reaching their full potential.

Our programs are designed to help individuals with IDD maintain and expand social and life skills, personal wellness, pre-vocational and vocational skills, and critical thinking skills, while becoming more involved in our community.

Activities offered are designed to be innovative, enriching, and to promote opportunities for inclusion and the development of life skills through a safe, highly structured schedule of activities.

The Village Centers also offers residential options and a number of services benefitting individuals with developmental disabilities, including transportation, respite, and after-school care.
