DAY PROGRAMS & COMMUNITY OUTINGS
The Village Day Program provides enriching educational, sensory, social, arts, and fitness experiences, both in our facilities and out in the local community.
The Kyle Brusatori Multipurpose Center is the home of our Day Program and is located in the heart of Kingwood on Plum Valley Drive, featuring two separate buildings set up to accommodate clients based on level of need. Enrolled clients participate in a program that includes an adequate staff to client ratio, nursing oversight, appropriate programming, educational support to maintain skill levels, and social activities.
The Village Centers Day Program focuses on providing stimulating activities, one-on-one interaction and personal contact, life-skills training, and community-based interaction at an appropriate level for each individual.
Both the Day Program and planned Community Outings are opportunities for Villagers to experience and feel included in the many exciting and engaging activities available in our local community. We provide a safe and comfortable environment for Villagers to gain new experiences in real world settings with their peers and encourage fitness and healthy habits to support both physical and mental well-being.
Activities and opportunities for Day Program attendees include:
-
Participating in BLOOM fitness classes
-
Joining the Village Choir
-
